The cinematographer was Janusz Kaminski. Who is he? He’s the same guy who filmed Schindler’s List, Minority Report, Amistad, Saving Private Ryan, Catch Me If You Can, & Munich.
“This movie basically follows one premise: Vanilla Ice is fresh. 2 fresh, apparently. And all of the other white people cannot handle just how fresh he is. And there is a plot involved in there somewhere. ‘Im not sure, I was unable to get over Vanilla Ice’s freshness.”
“Masterpiece of modern cinema, this has BLOCKBUSTER by the b@lls! Revered as one of the greatest movie ever made, Cool as ice, is just like its name one of the coolest things ive ever seen. Never had i wanted to dance, sweat, and laugh at the same time. Beaten by the slighty better Dances with wolves at the oscars im suprised this isnt considered for movie of the decade. Heres hoping for a remake in IMAX 3D.”
“This is the best worst movie of all time. “Drop that zero and get with the hero!”“
“When people think of Vanilla Ice they think of his prolific rap career, and often times over look his acting chops. I think the reason people dont like this movie is because ITS TRUE and HITS TOO CLOSE TO HOME. Mr. Ice tells it like it is; holding a mirror up to America and shaving, into our heads, a badass design of truth! To the extreem the Ice Man rocks a mic like a vandal and follows it up by waxing a chump like a candle. If I had to sum up this movie in one line it would be “Cool As Ice: Better than 9/11”. Word to your mother.”
Now on Netflix Instant Watch. :)
My father used to tell me, when I was real little and still had that baby chub, that I should be “proud of my pot belly,” because “Daisy Duke always wanted a pot belly.”
He proceeded to make me watch Dukes of Hazzard with him until he could prove that she’d said as much.
I suppose he didn’t realize that showing me Daisy Duke would make me want my little ‘pot belly’ less.
Men are funny that way.
My heart is heavy
I am really quite sad that I will never be a part of the 80s because technically I shouldn’t have so many crushes on “boys” that are now in their 40s or 50s. I love Eric Stoltz (the 80s version) and I can’t tell anyone because if they looked him up they would think that I am insane. I am just going to continue to pretend that there is a world where the 80s lives on!
I agree. I told my mother that I think that Eric Stoltz was the best looking of all the John Hughes movie leading men, and that I found him extremely attractive, and she looked at me like I was a psychopath and said something about The Mask.
Another problem for me is thinking that sixties/seventies Christopher Walken is a total dream boat, because everyone my age only knows him as the faux-Elvis-haired old man who plays villains. It’s too bad I guess…that people age.
I was thinking about this looking at nineteenseventies pictures of Mark Hamill.
Sigh.
Blossom’s first make-out party,
And guess who her make-out partner is?
Side note: apparently it was his first kiss.
Human Apathy : Subject of The Neverending Story.
G'mork: Foolish boy. Don't you know anything about Fantasia? It's the world of human fantasy. Every part, every creature of it, is a piece of the dreams and hopes of mankind. Therefore, it has no boundaries.Atreyu: But why is Fantasia dying, then?
G'mork: Because people have begun to lose their hopes and forget their dreams. So the Nothing grows stronger.
Atreyu: What is the Nothing?
G'mork: It's the emptiness that's left. It's like a despair, destroying this world. And I have been trying to help it.
Atreyu: But why?
G'mork: Because people who have no hopes are easy to control. And whoever has control has the Power.
I WAS….Jekyll Jekyll Hyde Jekyll Hyde Hyde Jekyll
Jekyll Jekyll Hyde Jekyll Hyde…
My friend’s dad used to tell him that if he ever did drugs, that he would have to wear wrangler jeans to school.
